Vehicle restorations
We have a fully equipped workshop and can take on any military or classic vehicle restoration up to the size of a Chieftain main battle tank. The proprietor David Smale is a qualified engineer and has had over 30 years experience working on cars, trucks, agricultural machinery and plant. The last 7 years have been spent restoring mainly British post war armour. We can take on any mechanical work, welding and fabrication, bodywork and paint and so on. We specialize and have much experience with Chieftain, Fv430 series and CVRT series vehicles, and have most of the special tools for these vehicles. We have also done much work on Land Rovers but can take on any type of work on almost any vehicle.
Our labour rates are currently £25 / hr for jobs of less than 8 hrs and £20 / hr for all other work. We do not currently charge VAT on our work.
