Terms and conditions for tank driving Whilst we will take every care with regard to our valued customers welfare the following conditions should be noted and on the day a form will need to be signed to confirm they have been agreed with. All military vehicles have sharp edges and interesting access methods ( usually through the roof ) and as such we can not be held liable for minor injuries and damage to clothing while entering and exiting the vehicles. Protective clothing will be supplied which will minimize this risk but we suggest people wear old clothes and sturdy footwear that they do not mind getting wet and/or muddy ( especially on wet days ). People that are over 6 ft 6in tall or under 5 ft 6 in or are excessively overweight may not be able to drive some vehicles due to access and vision problems ( this applies especially with the Chieftain ), please ring and we can advise you further. You should be reasonably fit and in possession of a full UK car driving license. ( If driving a vehicle ) Whilst we maintain our vehicles well, we cannot eliminate the possibility of vehicle breakdown and in this event we will at our discretion either offer an alternative vehicle to drive, or a part or complete refund, but we will not be held liable for traveling or accommodation expenses incurred in order to take part in a driving day. People must at all times pay attention to and obey our instructors, anyone not doing this or acting in a manner likely to endanger themselves or others, or under the influence of drink or drugs will be asked to leave the site without refund. We carry public liability insurance for 2.5 million but our liability will be limited to this as a condition of taking part in a tank driving day.
